Is Bose testing the water on the video front now?

I stumbled across this site today www.100inchtv.com and thought it smelled like Bose all over. I think they are trying to do for video what they did to audio, in the following of the 321 clock radio sound system and the acousticrap series. I think they are testing the waters and see who buys into their faulty logic. They are probably selling these at their cost and then next year come out with this crap at several thousand dollars. This has got to be Bose in disguise.

Man ,where do you come up with this stuff? To falsely accuse Bose of having anything to do with this? You already posted this in the 3-2-1 thread and it got no response. Were you not happy enough people joined you in bashing Bose that you have to repost it even though it has nothing to do with Bose?

Man, move on....

Come on Now Bose Pro you must know that Bose has to be involved with this nonsense. It is what Bose excels at, Marketing Gimmicks..... and absolutely nothing else (certainly not quality sound).

I closed this thread for several reasons.

Comparing Bose to 100inchtv.com is misleading at best. Think about it this way: how many satisfied 100inchtv.com customers are there? Right around 0, I'd say. While it's easy (and becoming very popular) to make a caricature of Bose's marketing model, it's completely inappropriate to suggest they're on the level of 100inchtv.com.

Threads discussing the relative merits of various equipment brands and models will always be welcome here. Threads that pretend to be about discussing the relative merits of various equipment brands but clearly exist for no other purpose than abject brand bashing are not welcome here.
