Smash Bros GameCube Hot in Japan!

I've been following the reports of the GC not doing well in Japan, but it looks like this game alone could change that.

Famitsu magazine, the most read/most prestigious Japanese gaming magazine, gave it a platinum award which is pretty rare from them. This game is apparently phenomenal. I'm sure the GC will pick up steam in Japan. Don't forget that they had a pretty crappy selection of launch titles over there, compared to the pretty decent selection we got here.

LOL, I didn't know the jigglester was back in this game. He was tough to use for me. You just reminded me of something though, I had a friend who was claiming all night while we were playing that he could beat anyone uing Jigglypuff so we did a 3 on 1 vs him and he was jigglypuff. As much as I don't want to admit, he actually won (i'm still trying to figure out how...) and it caused a huge uproar in the room hehe, it was a lot of fun though. A lot of yelling and screaming "NO WAY?!!" or "WHAAT!!??"

Kirby was one of my favorites from the original because he could get powers from other people. I liked Kirby with Link's powers, that rocked!

well apparently Jigglypuff is the most powerful character in the first smash bros... well maybe not the most... but if his technique is used properly... it's an instant KO. Sleep button directly center of the opponent...? That's all I could get for info. I haven't tried it yet...

but anyways... yeah, I got the gamecube for this and this only. It's going to be very exciting.

EDIT: It's not an instant KO, but it sure does MOVE the other player if done correctly. Down and B... I've only gotten it to displace the computer OFF the screen once... other wise it does like 30ish damage

I don't think zero is the person you should ask.
