Threads stealing focus

In the past couple of days I've noticed that some of the threads here are stealing focus from other windows. Is anyone else experiencing this?

BTW - if you don't know what I mean, I'll explain. Say you are in a forum and do the "open in new window" to three threads. You start reading the first one and minimize the other two. Then, for no good reason, the third one pops up over what you were reading... you minimize, it pops up, you select another window, it pops to the front again, etc. After about three or four times, it finally stops.

I think it's happening in Other when a window opens up a pop-under, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Perhaps I'll do some snooping into the HTML....

I think it's because of one of the new ads from half.com. I complained to Geoff about it in one of the threads about the new ads, but I don't think he noticed it. The problem is that the ad refreshes on it's own every five or six seconds and displays a new item. You'll see the the little hour glass cursor very briefly if you're using the standard windows cursors. IE likes to put pages on top when they're finished loading.
