Other great techno artists:
Orbital
Slam
Plaid
Two Lone Swordsmen
Future Sound of London
Luke Slater
Plump DJ's - one of the best of this year. called the new chemical brothers, highly recommended.
Anything that the Scotland record company Soma puts out - Funk D'Void is an album of particular note. www.somarecords.com

Techno eh?

Check out any of the following:

Richie Hawtin - Decks, Efx and 909
Richie Hawtin - Closer to the Edit
Swayzak
Theorem
Plastikman (aka Richie Hawtin)
Stewart Walker
Sutekh
G-Man
Adam Beyer
.G
Marco Carrola
Elting Lieb
Salz
Markus Nikolia
John Acquaviva
The Kooky Scientist (Fred Gianelli)
Juan Atkins
Derrick Carter
Mark Farina

I mix techno as well. So, if you would like to check out my site www.modiman.com you are free to download the mp3s I have posted there. I only have 2 at the time but I'm uploading 2 more tomorrow. Although, I would only recommend downloading them if you have broadband connection (cable modem, T1 line...). Each file is about 60mb, so with dial up it would take about 7 hours to download.
Write me back at [email protected] if you download anything.

Although its not exactly the same kind of techno, Aphex Twin and Squarepusher are my two favorites.

I know some people don't like DJ's, but my vote would go for

DJ Taucher
DJ Jurgen
also Artful Dodger
Roger Sanchez
Paul Oakenfold
ATB

and my personal favorite:
DJ Lafleche (straight out of Sona Club in Montreal)

Check out his Montreal Mix Sessions Vol. 4

For a great mix of guitars and techno sounds check out the CD
"Mezzanine" by Massive Attack. The song "Rising Son" is
outta here.

My favs are BT, his new R&R CD. His stuff is actually trance but still an awesome CD. John Digweed is my favorite DJ. His LA CD is another must have.
