Review Wanted: Dead Alive and Twitch of the Death Nerve

I liked Deep Red and Suspiria (but not Inferno). I didn't like The Beyond. I found Maniac incredibly boring. I don't like zombie or gore flicks unless they are over-the-top/campy/funny like Evil Dead 2 and Re-Animator. So, what are the chances I will like those?

Twitch is great if you like giallo. I highly recommend it.
If you don't like giallo, then it might not be for you.
If you don't know what giallo is, then this is as good a place as any to start.

Twitch of the Death Nerve (Bay of Blood) was ripped off almost shot for shot by Friday the 13th Part 2......

2 dvds for this movie exist. (same film, two different titles exist, one title was used by one dvd company, and another title by another company)
Bay of Blood is OOP, but wasn't as good of a picture as the Twitch of the Death Nerve dvd.
Twitch has a great picture, but the sound isn't too good.
I went with Twitch myself.

i've always been a huge fan of dead alive, but i was disappointed with the dvd. absolutely no extras apart from the trailer and not even a scene index card inside. don't get me wrong, the picture and sounds are good, i was just hoping for more.

Dead Alive.. If you must have one "splatter-gore" movie... this is it... Peter Jackson is the man!

Thanks for the info, I've ordered both!

Garmonbozia, I ordered Twitch, and yes I do like giallo. By the way, you ordered Cannibal Holocaust from lfvw right? How's the DVD?

I haven't found the time to sit down and watch the movie yet, but from just checking it out, I am quite happy with the dvd. All reviews I have read said the EC Entertainment version is the best looking one yet, so I am happy.
