Sears does internet pricematches, but if you get a bad CSR, they might also charge you the shipping charge as well. If I were you, I'd get an amex blue card (of i u already have one), buy it from sears, then ask amex to refund the difference. Maybe you can double the difference by asking sears for a pricematch too.

is that just sears.com or it is also for the B&M? if it's for the B&M too, what do you do? just print out the page and bring it in, to who, CS? or a sales person?

thanks.

You can do it for both Sears.com and Sears B&M. B&M is the better choice though, you get your stuff quicker. Just print the page out, bring it in to any one of the electronics sales people. They will verify the price by either calling or going online and that's it.

For what it's worth, I tried to get Sears to match an internet price when I eas looking for a new tv a few months ago. They had a list of internet retailers whose prices they would match (Amazon, 800.com, Crutchfield, were some of them) but wouldn't match for anyone not on the list. Don't know whether this was a local (Dallas) policy or nationwide.

They claimed the set I wanted wasn't released yet, and the salesman's manager wouldn't let him pre-order it. The salesman also told me that there was a 10% sale coming on Saturday of that week, but it never happened. When I was looking for a cabinet for the TV, my local Sears (Frisco, TX) wouldn't even price-match a Sears store 13 miles away. They claimed the other store had the wrong price. I had to talk to 2 managers to get them to look up the price in the computer. Turns out the other store was right, but they didn't have the cabinet in stock anyway and weren't about to order it. So in both cases, there I was money in hand ready to buy and Sears lost both sales due to employee indifference/ignorance. I don't think I'll be shopping there anytime soon.
