I think I'd have to go for a nice bigger TV. Using an old 27" tuber right now from back in the 80's (maybe early 90's). I already have a pretty nice HT 5.1 setup and not really that many DVD's I want to buy, but I'd definitely go for a TV.

i would probably have to go for a 16:9 HDTV. while i know that the $2K wouldn't cover the whole thing, it would at least be a good start.

I can't believe I won! Thank you, thank you! Please apply the winings to a Toshiba HD TheaterWide and put the remaining balance on my BB CC. Could you deliver that too?

If it means that I have to go through a check-out line and past the guy who thinks everyone has shoplifted (despite the Best Buy having one of those security sensor deals), I'll say thanks but no thanks.

I would buy a big screen tv and a surround sound system of some sort. And I would go through a check-out line and past the guy who thinks everyone has shoplifted because I have patience and i'm not a thief.

Some very nice Christmas presents for my friends & family. The only piece of hardware I can think I might want is a progressive player. Other than that, my setup rocks. Hmm, maybe a new computer too.

I would buy $2000 worth of $50 GC and wait for another 10% off sale (since I don't need anything at present). Whilst waiting, I might give a bunch of the GC away for XMas or BDay gifts. Or I could convert the GC into something else by bartering them off or donating to a charity that would give me a receipt that I could use for Homeland Security tax purposes (to defray the taxes that occur when I win $2000). My county is trying to propose a new "homeland security" tax.

Hmmm...I'd stick with my 25" Philips and pick up a top notch HT System without the built in DVD player. Then I'd pick out a great progressive scan player and blow 300-400 on DVDs. Actually, I'd probably have about $500 left so I'd also upgrade my TV to something in the 30-40" range.

I'd buy $1,500 in surround sound and DVD equipment. Keep $300 handy for S/H charges, $100 for the elusive "Order Charge", and another $100 for the sales tax they charge me.

$2000 is actually not that much if you think about it, but it is a significant amount. I would probably buy a lot of gift cards, so i would be set for anything coming out in the next few months .
