Canada Memento question

Hi,
I ordered Memeto through the sprite.com rocketcash playcentric deal and got one that has Canada stickers all over the back and says it was produced for Canadian markets.
Does anyone know if this is the same DVD as the US version?
unfortunately, I'm stuck at work for the next few weeks or so, but I wanted to see if anyone knew the difference.
thanks.

None of the same features are found on the US release, are on the Canadian release. The 2 things the Canadian version does have that the US does not, is:

- French Track
- View scenes in Chronological order. Cannot play the movie this way, they just put the scenes in order for you.

Basically, from what I've read, it gives you a separate menu screen that lists the chapters in reverse chronological order to how they play in the movie (i.e. 9 - 8 - 7 - etc.). When one chapter ends it takes you back to that menu screen to select the next chapter manually. If they had strung the movie together this way then it would have constituted a new cut and require approval and for them to pay royalties. From what I understand this DVD company is not known for spending money to release a quality product so this was out of the question (as was good video from the reviews).

I am willing to bet that a Special Edition will be out in a few months... both the US and Canadian versions are far too bare-bones for this good a movie....

The studios know it, and will release an SE for more money!

There's an SE being released in Europe in January with a commentary and other features TBA. I'm sure they'll consider it for release over here.
