DId anybody preorder Memento from Deepdiscountdvd? Have you recieved it yet?
I pre-ordered it about 4 weeks ago and haven't got anything yet.

I had a preorder through DDD arrive before the release date, but it wasn't a movie that the masses wanted (it was "Open Your Eyes").

well to be fair, i've ordered 3 dvds from them, 'romeo must die', 'nothing to lose' and 'memento'. the other two came as expected with no problems. So I guess the lessoned learned here is don't preorder from these guys, just get what they already have in

I ordered Memento 2 days ago and now find out it is on backorder and I had to call to find that out. They sent me an email letting me know that the other dvd I ordered was sent but made no mention to the status of Memento. If a dvd is on order, they should put that on their site. I would have just picked this up at BB for a couple bucks more if I knew this was backordered. I agree that their prices are good, but a good price means nothing if they don't have the item is stock. I rarely order from them because of reasons just like this. Oh yea.... and their search function SUCKS!!!!.

I received mine on 9/10. Perhaps because I live just over the Indiana / Illinois border I have been lucky. I have received several of my orders within a week of release and several before release. I order from DDD quite often and have always had great service.
