Dark Age of Camelot anyone?

I got in beta IV, good thing too since I cancelled my Anarchy Online account last night, but I'm looking for a tutorial or something to know how the play the game. I've heard the commands were quite complex and just the story line and such ive not read in a while. Is there a good newbie guide out there, like race to play, which of the 3 sides to choose, etc...

Um, it is still beta, so the aim is still bug hunting, not uber levelling. That said, they only just introduced the third race with this beta session, so I'd imagine you might want to start one of the new characters (scandinavian type IIRC), and see what sorts of problems arise. You ought to be able to go to DAoC's main site and look around for beta info -- ie. forums specifically for testers, etc. where you ought to be able to get a lot more info. Also, the readme that (should) come with the file is generally quite helpful.

Fire off an Email to the lady for missing passwords, I sent her 2 message (because I was dumb and made a new account) and she answered both on the same day (one within 2 hours) so they are looking out for players.

Don't miss the chance, the game is relatively free of bugs and working great, I'm taking the time to jot down suggestions on what I'd like to see fixed and only encountered 1 major bug when I fell through the world.

Wow this game looks great, just the thing I need after two years of Asheron's Call.

I am going to check this out definitely!

meh. most people at Lum the Mad, most people have described it as not more than an extension of EQ.

not promising IMO, but I'll wait and see if I get the open beta.
