Tribes 2?

just curious, but do you think anyone would be willing to buy an open-boxed tribes 2 original? this might be the wrong forum, but i made an error in judgement and bought it. it doesn't run on my computer -- i can just get it to install and load. won't load into the game though. and i did create an account -- which can be changed, right?

i absolutely hate it. it's a new game and it's just sitting on the shelf doing nothing. i don't want it anymore and i'm sick and tired of looking at it. does anybody want it? does anybody think i'm lying? i really don't care to play this game honestly since i can't seem to get the damn thing to work. i know it's a stretch... but i was just wondering.

if this is in the wrong forum, mods please move it to where-ever it needs to go. thanks.

If anyone was interested, compuexpert.com was selling Tribes 2 for $19.99 as part of their 48 hour madness sale. Not sure if it is still going on.

don't bother opening it. i spent the first 20 minutes downloading various updates and fixes -- and i'm on a cable connection!

i'm sure the game works well on a current system with a geforce. i'm running a Celeron 450 with an aging TNT. i know it's old, but i still expected some performance. i never even got a chance to see since the game would crash whenever i chose Direct3D -- and using OpenGL the game would never load up -- just the mission briefing and what nots.

Got it, and played it on a P3 850.... (w/ a Voodoo 3000 vid card).....

Game was "Ehhhh" at best.... I loved the first one, and still go back to that one to play.

#2 just sits there, and collects dust next to my desk.
