question/problem with half.com (please help!!)
i want to buy 3 books from the same seller
all three books are under $1
when i checkout, they want to charge me $2.30 shipping for each book
they're all from the same seller, so i need to combine shipping so i dont get shafted so badly
is there any way to do this?
any help/comments are appreciated

Half won't combine it because it's how they make extra money on an order.
You pay $2.30 *3=$6.90 for shipping, but half only gives the seller $1.78+.61+.61=$3.00 to ship the item. Half.com likes pocketing the extra money.

Half.com give you no incentive to purchase from the same seller. It's my biggest complaint with them as a seller. I had someone buy 2 CDs from me for the first time last week, and I felt bad for the buyer because they were ripped off by half for 2 full shipping charges, but I was only compensated a bit extra. I ended up throwing in an extra CD that I didn't want that I thought they might like to make up for it.
They think they're so brilliant ripping off customers, but eventually a competitor (hopefully amazon Zshops) will come along and provide a better value for customers.
Quite frankly, I try to sell as much on Amazon as I can and avoid half, but Amazon charges a higher commission on sales (although they only charge $1.99 s/h for an item vs $2.30 that half gouges).
