On 3 September BMG publishes a new edition of one first of BMG at all published DVDs: This time " the fifth item " 2 a DVD set will become. The bonus material is even longer with approximately 180 minutes of run time on the second DVD thereby than the actual film, which is presented both in German and English in the tone formats Dolby digital 5,1 and as Remix in DTS IT to Discrete 6,1.

The fifth element 2 DVD set (09.03.2001)

• picture: 2,35:1 (anamorph)
• tone: German, English (Dolby digital 5,1 & DTS IT Discrete 6,1)
• sub-titles: German, English
• extras:
• sound highlight (DVD 1)
• 3 Making Ofs
• 2 " behind Kulissen" contributions
• background information to the emergence history of production and effects
• Germans and American Trailer and Spots
• world premiere in Cannes: Preliminary report refunding, press conference, red carpet, MTV Special on the party
• Biographien & Filmographien to 10 actors (inclusive statements)
• Biographien & Filmographien to 10 crew members (inclusive statements)

It's going to be almost an hour longer???? Is this right?? Can we expect this version in the states anytime soon???

I think what it is saying is that there are 180 minutes of extras on the second DVD....more time than the actual film length.

I got this information from HTF, and the poster courteously mentioned that altavista's babelfish could translate the site to english.

So, what you have up above is a web translator's translation of a german site.

one can hope that we get this. I heard that the R1 disc had gone oop.
