In many ways her life is somewhat as controversial as Madonna's. In her earlier life she known as a party animal, she had wild concerts (check out one of her concerts from the past). She was in two well-known relationships with fighting stars Ben Lam Kwok-Bun (I Love Maria, Love on Delivery, High Risk, Streets of Fury, etc) and Chiu Man-Cheuk (OUATIC IV & V, The Blade, Blacksheep Affair, etc.). She was in hiding for a couple of years back in the early 90's in which many people believe she was behind some triad killings and she was being sought after. More recently, she just came back from a 4 year hiatus to do the movie Wu Yen.
She easily is my favorite female HK singer and certainly ranks among the top 5 female HK actresses of this generation.

Anita Mui is brilliant in almost every film she's been in! She's awesome in Drunken Master 2, and she's also good in Saviour Of The Soul (where she plays twin sisters--twice the Mui!).
