Like the title says, i just finish seeing iron monkey and it was a very good movie. Before iron monkey, i saw zu:warriors from magic mountain and turned it off because i hated it, i saw the hk version, the editing was bad and there was little action. I understand that the people in this forum know what they're talking about, so i ask for your help. Can you tell me a couple movies which have lots of action and a great story line???

PS:i have already seen,
Once upon a time in china I and II
Fong sai yuk I and II
New legend of shaolin

Add to the list:

"Drive" Just saw this and although the story may have dragged, I felt the action sequences were on-par with "Fist of Legend".

???

I'm trying to remember more than 1 minute without action and I cannot. There is lots of action from the very first second of the movie on until the end.

And, the editing is certainly no worse than your average HK film.

I can imagine reasons for not liking this film, but those are not amongst them.

Iron Monkey follow-ups

If you liked Iron Monkey (they you have great taste!), then you should check out other films that were choreographed or directed by Yuen Wo Ping, especially Fist of Legend, Tai Chi Master, Crouching Tiger..., and Magnificent Butcher. The overall quality varies from film to film, but if that style of fight choreography appeals to you, then these films should, too. You can see a list of available Yuen Wo Ping DVDs at HKFlix.com.

You might also like other "Wong Fei Hung"-related films, like Drunken Master 2, Last Hero In China, and the Once Upon A Time In China series. You can see a list of Wong Fei Hung titles at HKFlix.com as well.
