I've been giving thought to a new membername for a while. Retire 'Bushdog' as a well used, but now outgrown name and take on something new.

I have a couple of names in my head, so I need no help in picking. Just wanted thoughts, reactions to my notions of changing it up. Indifferent? Like it? Hate it?

Where does Bushdog come from? I guess I might be dumb for not knowing? Is it a political tongue-in-cheek thing?

I've also considered changing mine. Mine just makes it easy since it's the same as my aim name and other user names at other places. But I've got better ones thought up now.

What are you thinking of? It sounds like a good idea.

Noooooo... I still forget who Codefree is. I hate name changes. I'm bad enough with names, I always confuse Mllefoo with minifigg.

lol, nah, I have a couple in my head that I think better fit.

I just know that some people are attached to calling me Bushy and that sort of would be out of place with any of the new names.

Plus, I'm just interested in general thoughts on name changes.

I think it helps when they are a regular poster and they put in their sig. Formerly _______ for a couple weeks.

Like mysterx you remember who he was, right?

. . .
Completely non-political.

The story: I had a proclivity for doing alright with the ladies when I was in HS. A couple of my friends and I saw one of the latenight shows (Letterman, Leno. . .) and they had a bushdog on. It became an 'in' joke and morphed into the name I'd use for computer games and just lots of online logins.

Not much of a story.

How about PoonHound? It'd be like when Jabba The Hutt changed to Anthony Soprano and he stuck to a theme.

Apparently no one read the f*$#@ing thread. I said I do NOT NEED HELPING PICKING A NAME.

Just wanted to know what people thought of name changes in general, and for me specifically.
