Anyone know if this Japanese flick is out on DVD?

I have a VCD version of it and the quality is ok, and would love to see it on DVD.

DVD

Tenatively planned Uncut Pal release of the film via the same company (which is still a complete mystery) that did Miike's Visitor Q disc. The film is a blast, shame the bootleg vcd wasn't a bit better.

The Versus DVD is finally out and I received mine yesterday. It's definitely a bootleg as is the Visitor Q I received with it. I was 99.9% certain that it was going to be a bootleg from the beginning but I wanted to see the movie anyway.

Now for the quality...

Versus is R0 NTSC and about good VHS quality. There is no menu and no chapter stops but at least it's widescreen with (non-removable) English subtitles. If you really need to see this movie and can't wait for the inevitable R2 (like me) then this is a better way than a bootleg VHS since the quality won't degrade with repeat viewings.

Vistor Q is R0 PAL and 4:3 (the OAR). There are also burnt in subs and the quality is similar being comparable to a good VHS. The source was obviously a Japanese international screener print since the, um, naughty bits are mosaiced. Like Versus this is your best bet until the R2.

Am I disappointed? No, because I got exactly what I expected. I'd recommend anyone else waiting if you can otherwise don't be surprised with the quality.
