I recently found 2 OOP DVDs at an online store. It says "Special Order: 3 - 5 weeks" for both of them. Can I even hope that they have these? Should I expect a wait of 3 - 5 weeks, or longer?

Expect a wait of 3-5 years (it might be re-released by then). Unless it says "in stock", don't even bother trying.

No, if they are OOP you will probably never get them. Don't give me the Robocop CC argument, it's not the same. Not every OOP DVD is available for months afterwards.

Most online stores claim 3-5 weeks when they have to special order it. It's OOP. The distributor no longer has it. There will be no special order.

Could "Special Order" also possibly mean "Limited Quantities"? I sure hope so.

Keep hope alive. I ordered Zombie OOP about two months ago. It was listed as backorder or special order or something like that. Two weeks after my order I received it.
