I need help with my Pioneer DV-535 and DV-535K

Ok, last February I bought a Pioneer DV-535/ DV-535K and I need it to play a region 2 disc, (becaus even thought we were-other story, other time) and when I put the switch to PAL it accepts the dics but it is in black and white and rolls. Can anyone help me?

it sounds like setting the switch to PAL, reads PAL input and outputs PAL. this is what is causing the b/w, rolling images on your NTSC TV.
although this player will do NTSC to PAL, it will not do PAL to NTSC. you either need a PAL capable TV, or another player that will do PAL to NTSC conversion. ouch!!
