Upcoming Anime Films in U.S. Theaters
 

I was thinking instead of going to Anime Boston every year, I went the last 8 out of 9 years only missing 2012 because I was sick. Conventions are mostly boring anyway. Instead I decided I will go to most anime film screenings. I will post them here. If I didn't have to drive 45 minutes to get to the closest cinema that shows these films I would go see "Weathering With You" for a third time.

Saw Weathering with You in the theater, for me it was just Ok, I didn't care for it nearly as much as Your Name.

Violet Evergarden was only showing in one theater in my entire State, in center city Philadelphia, 2 hours away. I wasn't going to fight Friday evening traffic trying to get into the city. I have since watched it subbed online. It was good, but I didn't go for the hints of yuri in it, almost ruined it for me.

Children of the Sea looks good, I hope the Coronavirus scare is over by then to be able to go see it.
