Question about Studio Ghibli releases...
 

Do any of the DVD releases of Studio Ghibli titles have documentaries on Hayao Miyazaki? If so, which ones?

I know there is a documentary on Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli called The Kingdom of Dreams and Madness that I can get on Amazon Video and will make a point of watching, but I'm wondering if there have been any others over the years, whether they're included as DVD extras or not.

On the Nausicaa DVD there's a 27-min featurette called "The Birth Story of Studio Ghibli". You can find it on Youtube if you want to check it out.

Most of the US released DVDs just have a "Behind the Microphone" featurette with the English dub actors.

There's a "Collected Works of Hayao Miyazaki" Amazon exclusive that has his retirement press conference, and some other stuff.

I wouldn't buy it at that price, but it's been discounted before. Be aware that they fixed the dubtitles but also stripped out all the extras from the Disney releases, which is true to the Japanese version, which wanted he focus to be on Miyazaki himself.

Not a DVD, but NHK-Japan released a 4 episodes documentary about him last February.
