Infinite Stratos
Synopsis: Ten years ago, the development of the revolutionary Infinite Stratos powered exoskeleton changed the world's balance of power overnight. Unfortunately, while the distribution of IS systems to every nation on Earth has ushered in a new era of peace, the fact that only women have thus far been able to pilot the Stratos systems has sent the relationship between the XX and XY-chromosomed halves of the human race into a spiraling tailspin! Typical harem fair with all the accompanying clichés. When the mecha design manages to incorporate fanservice into the battle scenes, you pretty much know what kind of show your in for. I'm a sucker for pretty much anything mecha, but this is the kind of series you completely forget about 10 minutes after watching it.

I started watching it on The Anime Network back when you could stream the whole thing for free. Quit after two episodes.

Synopsis: There are probably worse things that could have happened to Ichika Orimura than being the only guy in a training academy filled with military hardware and several battalions of highly competitive and extremely boy-crazed teenage girls. Being caught in a five-girl crossfire between his obsessive childhood friends Lingyin and Houki and the even more zealous British, German and French pilots Cecillia, Laura and Charlotte, at least turned out to be survivable. But surely Ichika's finally put all his female troubles behind him, right? Oh, don't be ridiculous. None of the femmes fatales in his life have canceled their conquest scenarios. There's double trouble arriving in the form of the Sarashiki sisters, the rest of the school is still waiting in line to take their shot. and when a whole new set of female pilots working for the bad guys shows up with a new generation of stolen IS hardware, things are about to get utterly lethal!
