I ended up very impressed by Accel World. The story does get dragged out a bit in its second half to fill the entire season, but it reaches a definitive ending point that satisfies most of the open storylines. Some of the better character designs I've seen for the avatars, it actually looked like the animation got better as the series progressed.

I'm currently watching Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. Other than the anti-war rhetoric being the exact same stuff I heard in every other Gundam series, I think the series is pretty good. I just finished episode 6 this evening.

I am currently watching and will be reviewing "Hozuki's Coolheadedness" on Blu-ray. This is some floating world shit and it's fucking fantastic! There, that's all you get for now.

Log Horizon and ALDNOAH.ZERO are the only two current simulcasts I have been keeping up with. Everything else got put on the back burner so that I could (finally) marathon the first season of Durarara!!, which I enjoyed quite a bit despite things going supernatural too early on. I'm really looking forward to starting the second season.

I'm catching up on Kuroko's Basketball: Season 2, so I can start watching the season 3 simulcast. I missed season 2 when it aired last year. The first season was excellent.

Ninja Resurrection- Fuck-all batshit bizarre ninja anime about Christians in Japan resurrecting Satan. Or some fucking thing. Offensive for its sex and violence and highly infamous and controversial back in its heyday, but mostly now of disinterest for the fact that it makes no fucking sense whatsoever. At all. None. Intestines can apparently be used as weapons though. 80 minutes of my life which are gone forever. Bad animation, incomprehensible plotting, and terrible acting. No redeeming value whatsoever. God, this was terrible.

Maybe it's just because we live in the West, but you would think that Western religions are well documented enough to allow other cultures to have enough of an understanding of which side is "good" and which side is "evil". Somehow, we still get stuff like this and the final showdown in Devil Survivor 2 between...Spoiler:

I just finished watching A Certain Magical Index season 1 & 2 and also the movie all on Blu-ray. I watched season 1 before but season 2 and the movie it was the first time.

Just started watching Parasyte - the maxim - which seems pretty decent so far. Kind of like Midori Days meets The Thing with enough graphic gore to tide me over while waiting for Attack on Titan Season 2.
