I agree about Shippuuden. I was sort of meh on the original Naruto but with Shippuuden I catch every episode on crunchy roll as soon as its available. Its fantastic.

Finished Basilisk and Gurren Lagann. Now to start watching Noein.
I'll be interested to see your review of Blassreiter, Dragonfly!

I'm finishing up Noein today. I only have Fullmetal Alchemist Seasons 1 & 2 left as DVDs. After that, I'll move on to Blassreiter

Yeah, Blassreiter was pretty cool. Writing up a review for Tower of Druaga right now (awesome show as well! so funny and the English cast did an amazing job). I gotta finish up Dragonaut and move on to Clannad!

What a strange trip that was. Slightly confusing (didn't help spreading it over three weeks to watch) and disjointed but I loved the animation style and story - even though I still don't have all the answers for it. Need to re-watch at some point.
Next up either Claymore or Coyote Ragtime.

Re: Just Finished....Up Next!
Had some problems with Claymore and just couldn't get into it right away, so I put it on the back-burner and just completed Gantz. I enjoy 'em dark and somewhat twisted and boy did this one fit the bill. As it seems to me, most people, including me developed a bitter sweet relationship with this one - my most glaring problems were with the long, drawn out emotional moments (like when the psycho bought it) and the fact that there were so many frustratingly stupid things characters would do, or not do, depending on the given situations. Chris Beveridge (over at Mania) nailed it in that the feeling was analogous to a group of would be victims in an 80's horror film which cause the viewer to scream at the screen due to their stupidity. But the premise was way beyond what I expected, Kurano's transformation was great as was the set up to the last stage where Gantz essentially put the screw to him, and I was surprised to find who makes it and who doesn't. And for some reason I just could not stop watching the progress of the series. Interesting experience but I can appreciate the series.
Either Coyote Ragtime or Star Blazers (full series) should be next after I finish up Kawajiri's Demon City Shinjuku.

Currently watching Moribito - Guardian of the Spirit. It's pretty good series so far.
Up next: El Cazador de la Bruja. And then nothing else.

Re: Just Finished....Up Next!
Have not seen Soul Eater but I might take a gamble on it later. I thought Tower of Druaga was ok but it really went in a different direction than I thought it would. Linebarrels was ok for a mecha but what I have heard of the English dub is awful.

Started watching the first Golgo 13 set. Been a huge Golgo 13 fan since I was a kid playing the NES game, he is just such a badass character. Loving the show so far. Can't wait to get the rest of the series sets.

I just finished Najica Blitz Tactics.
Here's the thing: once you get past the very blatant fanservice (after all, it was done by the Studio Fantasia, who produced the infamous Agent Aika several years earlier), it's a surprisingly good story, especially with that great jazz soundtrack.

I love Najica Blitz Tactics, it's one of the few anime series I have rewatched several times.

Re: Just Finished....Up Next!
Just starting:
Blade of the Immortal: Not impressed after the first 5 eps. Problems with the pacing, animation and one dimensional characters.
Dragonaut the Resonance: The show isnt bad but the "dragon" battles are corny and ham fisted.
Corpse Princess: Easily the best of this bunch.
