A mysterious sweet shop, to which only fortunate people can find their way. The way it sits there, tucked away down a narrow alley, it's as if it's holding itself from the shopping district. In the shopfront, you'll find an array of many captivating sweets. Whichever sweet is recommended by the proprietress, Beniko, it's a perfect fit for that particular customer.
But if you use it or eat it the wrong way... Will the captivating sweets summon good luck or bad? Today once again, Beniko the proprietress uses sweets to meddle with her customers' fates.
The short anthology anime series, Supernatural Sweet Shop, is now broadcasting every Tuesday at 3:30pm PT on NHK TV Japan with back-to-back episodes! Check your local listings!

The official website for Wit Studio's original television anime series Great Pretender unveiled the new work for the franchise as a sequel titled Great Pretender razbliuto, slated for a 2024 release worldwide.
The anime will debut in Japan on DMM TV. Crunchyroll will stream the anime in over 200 countries outside of China, and Manga Productions holds the master license for the anime in 16 countries in the Middle East.

The anime's staff stated that it cannot yet reveal how much of the anime will screen in theaters, but it will reveal that information at a later date.
