Anime Network is pleased to announce the upcoming online release of Sasami-san@Ganbaranai on Anime Network Online. The latest work from Director Akiyuki Shinbo (Hidamari Sketch, Maria Holic) and character designer Hiroki Harada (Romeo X Juiliet), Sasami-san@Ganbaranai's show-within-a-show puts a whole new spin on the term "reality TV"!
The Japanese call them hikikomori - people who’ve become so socially withdrawn that they refuse to leave their homes for weeks and even months at a time. Sasami Tsukuyomi has been attempting to pass her first year of high school despite being a shut in. Fortunately, her older brother Kamiomi happens to be a teacher at the school she is supposed to attend. With the use of the “Brother Surveillance Tool” she can view the outside world via her computer. Theoretically it should be helping her adjust to interfacing with people again... Instead, it's giving her an up close and personal view of the very odd Yagami sisters who have various types of “interest” in Kamiomi. It looks like Sasami will have to take off her pajamas and go out into the “real” world to set things straight in Sasami-san@Ganabaranai!

For Tamako Market, only episode 1 will be free to all users. The rest of the episodes require paid subscription. Same thing applies to Sasami-san@Ganbaranai.

Last year, I wasn't too impressed by Haganai. Something about it just didn't click with me. But after watching it again and reading the manga, I'm now a fan. Really looking forward to the new season.

Crunchyroll Adds "Arakawa Under the Bridge" to Anime Catalog
Crunchyroll is adding more anime to its growing catalog of titles, and today January 29, 2013 at 5PM PST, both seasons of Arakawa Under the Bridge will be available for viewing.
Arakawa Under the Bridge will be available to Crunchyroll audiences in the United States and Canada. The first 6 episodes will be available for all users, with the rest available for Premium Members.

Ghastly Prince Enma Burning Up will be available to Crunchyroll audiences in the US and Canada, starting TODAY, January 30, 2013 at 5:00pm PST! Premium users will be able to watch the whole series right away, while free users can catch the first 2 episodes today, with the rest of the episodes being released each week 2 episodes at a time.

Hey everyone, Happy Friday and time to cap off the week with another catalog title announcement! Our Home's Fox Deity will be coming to Crunchyroll TODAY, FEBRUARY 1, 2013, at 5:00pm PST. Premium members will be able to view all 24 episodes right away, while free users will get 2 episodes a week until all are released.
...aaaand that's not all for our announcements today! Many of you have been eagerly awaiting the first 13 episodes of our Simulcast, Little Busters!, and we are excited to announce that YES, you will be able to start watching them! Episodes 1 and 2 will be available starting this Saturday, February 2, 2013, launching at the same time that the current episodes of Little Busters!, 6:00pm PST. We will be releasing 2-3 episodes each week until we are all caught up to the current episode.

Crunchyroll to Stream "Straight Title Robot Anime"
Hark! Crunchyroll has added yet another new title to its winter simulcast lineup! Straight Title Robot Anime, the first series to be produced using MikuMikuDance software will be available for viewing every Wednesday, starting on February 6, 2013 at 8:45a.m. Pacific Time for premium members, and February 13 for free members.
Straight Title Robot Anime will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience worldwide, except for Japan.

For those of you who have been enjoying AKB0048: next stage, we've got news for you! The first season, AKB0048, featuring Japan's favorite idol group, will finally be available on Crunchyroll!
AKB0048 will have the same regions as AKB0048: next stage, meaning it will be available to Crunchyroll audiences in the U.S., Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Finland, Denmark, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, South and Central America.
