FUNimation Adds Karneval to the Spring Simulcast Schedule

FLOWER MOUND, TX - April 4, 2013 - FUNimation announced today that it has acquired the streaming rights for Karneval. The series will be joining their spring simulcast schedule.

Karneval will premiere on http://funimation.com on Monday, April 8th and will be streaming Mondays at 1:35pm ET/ 12:35pm CT.

synopsis:
Armed with only an abandoned bracelet as a clue, Nai searches for someone dear to him. FUNimation Acquires Streaming Rights for The Devil is a Part-Timer!

This 13 episode series is from the studio behind Steins;Gate and Jormungand and from the director of Shuffle! and The Future Diary. April 9, 2013 - FLOWER MOUND, TX - FUNimation announced today that it has acquired the streaming rights for Date A Live. The series is from the studio behind Cat Planet Cuties, and is directed by Keitaro Montonaga (Jormungand).

synopsis:
30 years ago, a disaster known as a spacequake obliterated the center of Eurasia without warning, leaving 150 million corpses in its wake. Ever since that day, mankind has lived in constant fear of the spontaneously recurring spacequakes.

One day, an ordinary high school boy named Shido Itsuka discovers a mysterious girl at ground zero of a recent spacequake. Shido learns, through the help of his sister Kotori, that the girl is one of the Spirits: mystical creatures responsible for the genesis of the spacequakes. As captain of the anti-Spirit airship Ratatoskr, Kotori recruits Shido to help “seal” the sprits, thus ending their threat to mankind.

There’s just one catch: the only way to seal a spirit – is to make her fall in love with you.

synopsis:
Shy 15-year-old Izumiko has trouble fitting in. Not only does she live a sheltered life with her grandfather at the local shrine, but modern devices like computers and cell phones crash whenever she touches them. When a bully from her childhood – the handsome but prickly Miyuki – enrolls in her school, their lives become involuntarily entwined. As Izumiko learns she is the last vessel of a goddess, Miyuki is forced to serve as her guardian. A Certain Scientific Railgun S Premieres This Sunday

Synopsis:
