San Francisco, CA, April 2, 2018 - VIZ Media, LLC (VIZ Media), a premier company in the fields of publishing, animation distribution, and global entertainment licensing, expands its catalog for the K anime franchise with the acquisition of K: SEVEN STORIES.

The agreement forged with Japan-based King Records covers the digital streaming, EST, home video and merchandising rights to K: SEVEN STORIES. Based on the hit anime property from Studio GoHands and GoRA Project, K: SEVEN STORIES is a collection of six original animated stories and spinoff shorts featuring both new and returning characters from the visually stunning k-project universe. More details on the home media release for K: SEVEN STORIES is forthcoming.

The original K anime series followed the story of Yashiro “Shiro” Isana, a teen wanted for a crime he has no recollection of committing. He finds himself being hunted by the group HOMRA, led by Mikoto Suoh, the Red King. With help from a young man named Kuroh Yatogami and a mysterious girl who only refers to herself as Neko, Shiro tries to prove his innocence, only to discover a shocking truth that would change his life forever. The series later spawned a feature-length movie K: MISSING KINGS, followed by a second season, K: RETURN OF KINGS.

VIZ Media holds the North American digital streaming, EST, home video and merchandising rights to Seasons 1 and 2 of the K anime series as well as the K: MISSING KINGS feature film. These home media releases are available now in DVD and Blu-ray formats.

HOUSTON, TX, April 3, 2018 - Sentai Filmworks announced today their newest acquisition to the Spring 2018 simulcast lineup with DOREIKU: The Animation.

Based on the novel and manga published by Futabasha (Old Boy, Crayon Shin-chan), DOREIKU: The Animation explores the twisted dynamic of slave/master relationships in modern-day Tokyo through 23 storylines that intersect to create a complex web of deception and violence. Written and directed by Ryoichi Kuratani (Tsugumomno, Ai Tenchi Muyo!), DOREIKU: The Animation will leave the viewer questioning society's morality and wondering how far they would go if they were given ultimate control.

HOUSTON, TX, April 11, 2018 - Sentai Filmworks announced today that they have acquired Sunrise Studio's classic adventure series Aura Battler Dunbine. The 49-episode epic was restored from archival stock and remastered in high definition.

Transported from his home in Tokyo, a seemingly ordinary 18-year-old Shou Zama finds himself in a new world known as Byston Well, a country that has been torn apart by overlord Drake Luft. Refusing to participate in Luft's evil plans, Shou joins the resistance where he uses his incredible Aura Powers to fight for freedom inside a lavender-colored mecha.

From the fan-favorite studio, Kyoto Animation (Clannad, K-ON!), this theatrical release, which premiered in Japan on January 6, 2018, follows the chunibyo couple, Rikka and Yuta, into their third year of high school.

Graduation is getting closer, and the couple still hasn't had their first kiss. Things take an unexpected turn when spring break approaches, Rikkas' older sister announces that the entire family is moving for her new job! FUNIMATION ACQUIRES "ATTACK ON TITAN" SEASON 3

International Hit Anime Series Scheduled to Premiere in July 2018 in Japan

FLOWER MOUND, TEXAS – April 27, 2018. Funimation® announced today its acquisition of Season 3 of "Attack on Titan," one of the top global anime franchises and a fan favorite with North American audiences from the moment it first premiered in 2013. As part of its agreement with Kodansha, Funimation has secured the international rights to home entertainment, video on demand and broadcast distribution of the series in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. The new season will premiere this July in Japan.

Adapted from the manga by Mengo Yokoyari, serialized in Square Enix's Big Gangan, the 12-episode series' striking visuals, courtesy of Lerche (Monster Musume, School-Live!), envelope the story of young lovers who each ache for the unattainable, unreciprocated love of another.

At first glance, high school sweethearts Hanabi Yasuraoka and Mugi Awaya appear to have the perfect relationship and while the two enjoy each other's physical companionship, they are merely using each other to feel anything other than pain as both Hanabi and Mugi are in love with other people. As this tangled web of emotions continues to ensnare others, viewers are exposed to the painful side of love, making this series often difficult to watch yet impossible to look away.
