HOUSTON, OCTOBER 1, 2015 – Sentai Filmworks is proud to announce its latest acquisition, Young Black Jack, as part of the Fall 2015 anime season lineup. Based on the manga written by Yoshiaki Tabata and illustrated by Yūgo Ōkuma, this anime focuses on Osamu Tezuka’s beloved character, Black Jack, in his years as a medical student. Young Black Jack will explore the formative years of one of manga’s most mysterious and iconic characters as he strives to become a master surgeon!
The series will be directed by Atsuko Kase, while Ryosuke Takahashi and Yoshiaki Tabata will handle series composition and scripting respectively. Daisuke Ikeda is composing the music, and renowned studio Tezuka Productions (Astro Boy, the Fantastic Adventures of Unico, the New Adventures of Kimba the White Lion) is animating the series.
Young Black Jack is scheduled for an October 2015 broadcast in Japan and will soon be available domestically through select digital outlets with a home video release to follow.

HOUSTON, OCTOBER 1, 2015 – Sentai Filmworks is proud to announce its latest acquisition, Young Black Jack, as part of the Fall 2015 anime season lineup. New this Fall:
Attack on Titan: Junior High
Your favorite characters from Attack on Titan are back in…junior high school? Adapted from the hit spinoff manga series – Attack on Titan: Junior High (written by Saki Nakagawa), this parody reimagines Eren, Mikasa, Armin, and other characters from the original manga as students and teachers at Titan Junior High School.
Doamayger-D
This retro-style throwback is a romping adventure with a sweet setting! In a traditional Japanese sweets shop in Kyoto works Daijiro Kyogoku, the latest young successor in a long line of sweet shop owners. One day, Daijiro finds a giant robot in the shop’s basement called Doamayger-D. Now, villanous robots are on the loose, and the hero we need is Doamayger-D… a candy-making mech?
Heavy Object
In the future, warfare has been revolutionized by the invention of mechanical weapons called “Objects.” These Objects are overwhelmingly powerful, rendering traditional weapons like guns, tanks and fighter jets completely useless. Qwenthur is an un-athletic, but smart soldier who aims to work as an Object mechanic. Stationed at an Alaskan Object base, he meets Milinda, a stoic but beautiful Elite Soldier who pilots her own Object. As they learn to support each other in battle, Qwenthur begins to uncover the grim secret behind the Heavy Objects.

After adorable “mermaid” Mamori is transferred to one of five artificial islands, she’s cornered, attacked and eventually saved by another beautiful transfer named Mirei. But when Mikazuki Augus, a young member of a private security company known as the CGS, accepts a mission to protect a young woman seeking to liberate the Martian city of Chryse from Earth’s rule, he sets off a chain of events that threatens to send the galaxy back to war. With his orders in hand, he’ll have to head into battle using a war-era relic the CGS has been using as a power source—the Gundam Barbatos.

Ayana Academy: home of musical dreams and insane competition. New student Yuta Hoshiya dreams of being in show business, but to get there he’ll have to gain acceptance from the Kao Kai (Cherry Blossom Flower Association), Ayana Academy’s three highest ranking students. For Yuta and his friends to get into the music department, they’ll have to get into the Star Frame class, which is taught by the Kao Kai members. Though the newcomers are struggling, they catch the interest of one of the Kao Kai members, which just might send them on the starlit journey they’ve been dreaming of! From director Shunsuke Tada (Kuroko’s Basketball and Prince of Tennis) comes a new show that will have you dreaming of stardom.
Dance with Devils
From Rejet, the original creator of Diabolik Lovers, and Brain’s Base, the studio behind Princess Jellyfish, comes a devilish tale of high school seduction. Second-year student Ritsuka Tachibana has the perfect school-to-life balance, but all of that’s thrown into chaos when she discovers that several of her handsome male classmates are actually demons in disguise.

Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign (Season 1 Part 2)
The battle between humans and vampires continues in Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign Part 2. Funimation has Not Licensed Space Battleship Yamato Resurrection Anime Film

"Space Battleship Yamato Resurrection" announcement from 2012 was the live-action movie
FUNimation Entertainment confirmed on ANNCast on Friday that it does not have the rights to the anime film Space Battleship Yamato Resurrection, or any Yamato anime, and never did.
Funimation announced the home entertainment rights to Space Battleship Yamato Resurrection at Otakon 2012, and listed the title in its press release. However, Funimation told ANN on Friday that this was a miscommunication, and the announcement was actually referring to the 2010 live-action film Space Battleship Yamato.
Funimation formally announced the license for the live-action film in December 2013 and released the film on Blu-ray and DVD in April 2014.

HOUSTON, NOVEMBER 18, 2015 – Sentai Filmworks is proud to announce its latest acquisition, Utawarerumono (OVA). This comedic fantasy anime consists of a group of side-stories to supplement the Utawarerumono universe. Fans of the series will recognize many characters from the series as they run into more adventures and mischief.

The town where only I am missing), for their upcoming winter simulcast season. This highly anticipated anime adaptation of the award-winning manga currently serialized in Young Ace monthly magazine will premiere on Crunchyroll on January 7, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. (PST). Aniplex of America has also launched the official homepage of ERASED (www.AniplexUSA.com/erased) where they plan to announce more details on the series at a later time.
ERASED is a sci-fi thriller series featuring the story of Satoru Fujinuma, a struggling manga creator who suffers from a peculiar phenomenon called REVIVAL, where he is forcibly transferred back in time moments before a life-threatening occurrence. Satoru soon realizes that this phenomenon continues to occur only to him until he successfully eliminates the cause of this threat. Originally created by author Kei Sanbe, the ERASED manga series has won second place for the 2014 Manga Taisho award and has been featured in Kono Manga Ga Sugoi (lit. This Manga is Amazing!) for the same year. The anime adaptation will be produced by A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online II, Blue Exorcist, Your lie in April) and directed by Tomohiko Ito (Sword Art Online II, Silver Spoon) and Keigo Sasaki (Blue Exorcist, World Conquest Zvezda Plot) will be working as the character designer.
