You mean actual numbers? It can't be a lot because they already ran the second print. As I mentioned a few posts back second printing will be out in the wild as early as March 10th.

If you want the first printing buy it now ....

This is nowhere to be found (here in Toronto). I have looked at Future Shop, Best Buy, and HMV. Only HMV had it listed online, but once you go to check store availability, I get nuthin'.

I havn't seen it in a long time but my initial reaction to the movie was similiar to watching the last two episodes of Neon Genesis. Had no idea what the hell was going on at times.

If you don't like it you can probably sell it rather quick and get your money back.

My Best Buy had a whole bunch when I went just before noon - at least 20 copies.

Ok somebody dropped the ball on this. Either Honnemaise didn't make many of these or Best Buy didn't order a bunch, most BBs in Houston were sold out of these. I was lucky to have done in store pick up on this on Sunday so mine was already at Customer Service but most stores were sold out by around noon.

My Best Buy In Greece NY (Rochester) had only 2 copies. They weren't even on the shelf at 10:00 am I found the cart were they keep some new releases. I asked the girl if that was all she got and she said yes. She looked it up on the computer and said they had more coming in the next few weeks.

I did in store pick-up at the Beast Buy in West Hartford, CT. There was one more left on the shelf at 4:00.

The Borders across the street had one copy........for $50.

I stop by FYE first because I thought I knew they would get it. The Manager told me that they didn't receive and it might be in sometime this week. Than I asked how much would it be...he told me $39.99. I don't think so. I drove to Best Buy and they had only one copy left at noon today. I got it for $29.99. My Best Buy is sold out.

Best Buy in Orange, CA had at least 15 copies when I bought mine.

Got my Amazon copy as expected earlier today. Did some quick A/B comparisons and it is a hell of a difference. The DVD seems to have a ton of compression artifacts. Can't really compare the sound since all I have is the TV speakers.

Just ordered a copy at BB for in store pickup based on the packaging news. All 3 stores in my area still show copies online...

All of the local BB's had this Monday when i checked the availability online. Checked yesterday, two had it left. Went into one of them today and snagged the final copy. Haven't ever seen this, deciding if I should keep it or not.

I didn't realize that the slipcover even has an obi strip. Kind of cool for anyone who's ever collected Japanese DVDs or laserdiscs.
