maybe there's a special thing included? It did have a * next to it after it said only at Target, so maybe there's something Target exclusive?

There's a sticker right above the Only at Target one that describes what the exclusive is, but I can't make it out. I'm guessing a pack on ornament of some kind, similar to what National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation came with.

Definitely picking up, UP Blu-ray. Just going to pricematch Wal-Marts price for UP $19.96. Awesome that it comes with a free book. Then going to buy Monsters Inc. and use the coupons I have for it. Going to be a great deal.

Interested in seeing what the other $10 DVDs in store are. If Drag Me to Hell is included, I'd pick that up along with Land of the Lost with the $4 on-pack coupon.

I keep hearing about a coupon for Monster's Inc, but, where can these coupons be found?

Re: Target Media Prices November 8-14, 2009

Reposting this for those interested in picking up Monsters Inc. + Up on Blu-Ray at Target:

Up/Monsters Inc. regular price:
26.99 x 2 = 53.98

If using both available coupons:
53.98 - 10 - 8 = 35.98

Best Buy prices:
Up 23.99
Monsters Inc. 18.99 (if purchased with Up)

So if pricematching to Best Buy:
23.99 + 18.99 = 42.98

If pricematching to Best Buy and using both available coupons:
42.98 - 10 - 8 = 24.98

If a $10 coupon for Up surfaces:
24.98 - 10 = 14.98

Obviously either of the last two scenarios would be optimal

Your forgot to include the pricematching for UP at Target doctor!

Can Monsters Inc. be pricematched at Target also? Wal-mart has Monsters Inc. for cheap, online anyways. Guess it doesn't matter until the ad comes out.

If you look under The Dark Knight deal, you can see in the bottom left hand corner, the * means quantities limited, no rain checks. That is my guess anyways, or it might be for The Dark Knight deal itself.

If you look at the picture of the DVD, it has one of those ONLY AT TARGET stickers on it, which will tell you what it has extra. However, it is impossible to make out anything.

Wow, I knew Land of the Lost would be cheap soon, but after just a few weeks...glad I don't rush out on first day anymore. I'll be picking that up for $10

The main pricematch is for Wal-marts price $19.96 price. That is the price match I will be using since, well it is the cheapest.

...No, I didn't. I accounted for pricematching Best Buy's price for Up - it's clear as day in my post.

You won't be able to pricematch Wal-Mart's price for Up at Target since it isn't in their ad for next week.

I know you pricematched BB price, but WM next week ad hasn't come out yet so you really can't say that the $19.96 UP won't be in it. WM online store is listing UP for $19.96, I'm assuming that price will be in next weeks ad.

It does look like Target is cheapest on the Cars BD reissue. I don't have it on BD yet, and the included DVD is a selling point.

Yes, it has come out - pics have leaked online. There are no advertisements for Up or Monsters Inc. in it. Therefore you will not be able to pricematch Wal-Mart at Target. The best pricematch you can do at Target is to match Best Buy's prices.

Wasn't aware of that, link me to those "leaked pics" sir?

If true, then BB is the way for the pricematch.

Re: Target Media Prices November 8-14, 2009

Ok, I stand corrected. Up actually is advertised as $19.96 in next week's Wal-Mart ad. You were right, and I apologize.

However, it's still a better deal to pricematch Best Buy. If you pricematch Wal-Mart, you'll get Up for $19.96, but you'll still have to pay $26.99 (regular Target price) for Monsters Inc (that title is definitely not advertised in next week's Wal-Mart ad).

$19.96 + $26.99 = $46.95
$46.95 - $10 - $8 = $28.95

Which is $4 more expensive than if you pricematch the Best Buy price for Up and Monsters Inc.

Again, sorry for the mistake.

No problem man

Another question though. You sure you can pricematch Monsters Inc. from Best Buy since that is part of their buy UP get Monsters Inc. for $18.99 promotion? Sine $18.99 isn't Monsters Inc. regular price, I don't know if Target will pricematch it.

I am 99% certain the Target I shop at will allow it, because they are VERY permissive about pricematching + using coupons. However, YMMV on that for sure. Some people will have no trouble doing it, but some will.
