It's weird, my Verizon FIOS DVR's guide claims that Monday Night Football is on tonight instead of Castle. I thought Monday Night Football moved to ESPN. Does anyone with FIOS see this on their schedule tonight?

Do you live in either the Philadelphia or Washington TV markets?
If your hometeam football team is playing, the local ABC affiliate will broadcast the ESPN MNF feed.

Thanks Chew. Yeah, I get the Philly stations. I'm the one person in South Jersey who doesn't give a crap about the Eagles. Great. Does Hulu generally put the new episode up by the next day?

EDIT: Just checked 6 ABC's website, and it looks Castle will be rebroadcasting Wednesday morning at 1:05 am. The FIOS guide schedule just hasn't updated yet apparently.

Just an awesome sight.
"Didn't you wear that like 5 years ago? "
That whole scene was fan-firefly-tastic.

Maybe all us Firefly fans do need to move on.
I have to say it was a solid ep., but I kind of got lost towards the end. How exactly did the crazy vampire guy know the identity of the killer?

The costume was the egg, unless there was some hidden Firefly reference in a previous episode.
EDIT:
Nathan Fillion said on his Twitter page that the browncoat was not the egg, so it's still out there.

Besides the obvious Malcolm Reynolds reference, the Hispanic dective's costume was his Army outfit from Generation Kill, and the other cop dressed as the doctor was on General Hospital

I thought they were Dexter and Call of Duty. And what a wasted opportunity to have Beckett sporting something hot.
The episode was the shit! I swear I heard him tell the daughter to dress as "Inara"
I think the eppisodes are getting a bit cumbersome. So the guy saw his mom murdered at 2, had images of her all his life and didnt know it. Than Researched his mothers death himself and found out what exactley? Proof his step mom had done it?

That's about right, Ravenous. His cowriter on the comic, who was studying forensics, recognized the facial reconstruction from his artwork. They then investigated and discovered that it was his real mother, who he had no idea existed. In the initial interview with the parents they said he left had left a message a couple of days earlier and he was upset about something but they never found out what it was. Obviously, the step-mother did find out. It's not clear if they figured out she was the killer, although once the guy saw the pictures of where the body was buried it's likely that he realized he witnessed her death and put things together.

Re: Castle -- "Vampire Weekend" -- 10/26/09
I love this show, but for some reason I can never stay awake throughout the hour. I've seen every episode of Castle, and I always have to come back twice, or even three or four times to finish watching one episode. That always happened to me with Pushing Daisies as well. I've never made it all the way through a single episode of either show without falling out. I can sit through all the other hour-long dramas though.
Anyway, I enjoyed the episode. But I think it was a bit far-fetched as well.
