True, I think there are only 4-5 celebs who can actually pull off the choreography and dance styles competently this season. So we are in for another month of chaff.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if the producers pull some kind of "surprise ending" stunt where no one goes home this week, considering the fact that two contestants left last week. They will probably combine this and next week's scores to determine the next elimination.
Otherwise, the season would end a week early.

Wow.
Louie!
I was rooting for you! But, you let Chelsie do all the work! You did nothing but shuffle back and forth!
I think the judges were indirectly telling Aaron Carter to concentrate on dancing instead of what all the tabloids are reporting.

Aaron wasn't perfect 30, but come on an 18? More Karina hate.
It is really annoying the way ABC constantly runs over time. Mya's score was announced at like 2:01 (28 btw).
Louie should be gone this week but guess we'll have to put up with everyone again next week.

Re: Dancing with the Stars - Season 9 - "Top 11" (10/12-13/09)
I don't know all the technicalities of the ballroom dances but I know country two-step since I do it and that number that Anna and Chuck did was just ridiculously inaccurate and dumb-looking. Mark and Lacey's version was better but not by much. Both couples lacked any of the basic steps. I've heard that they often bastardize the ballroom dances and didn't know but I can see that it is true for this style of dancing.
Though she had never done it, Chelsie had the most accurate portrayal of the two-step. It's just too bad Louie didn't have any of the footwork or the enthusiasm. But to give Anna and Chuck a point more than them? Crazy. I really doubt Lynn, Carrie-Anne or Bruno have any knowledge of the country two-step to judge it anyway.

Alot of people are tweeting that Louie and Chelsie's 2 step was a real 2 step.
It's all about leading the lady.
Louie himself said: "I was told by the world champ of two step to not pick your feet up, lead the girl. We did a true traditional 2 step. I did the best I could"

I can't believe the judges gave Melissa a 28. a 28?! That is the same as Mya. That is just so wrong in many ways

After all these seasons, I gather that Len wants dances to be simple and traditional. When couples veer away from this, his scores and criticisms reflect his displeasure.

Or hold them to a higher standard when they are capable dancers which is BS imo.
I was really hoping for Aaron Carter to be gone. Can't stand the dude.

That was beyond absurd. That gets a 6 and then one of these judges gave that Texas dance from the guy (don't know his name - I have no idea what he does that makes him a celebrity) with Chelsie 5s and 6s. It's ridiculous that country dancing has become part of this show, but that dance was probably the worst I've seen since Master P. Karina never seems to have a chance on this show. The judges hate her and the female audience hates her. Her outfit rocked though.
I'm just glad they had Karina and Joanna doing the Lambada dances.
I really like Natalie - very pretty girl. I remember the '04 Olympics when people were talking about how hot Amanda Beard was, and I thought Natalie was hotter.

Louie actually did a good routine with Chelsie. There were a lot of complicated hand movements and it was true to the dance for the most part. It's just that watching his feet, he almost walked it when there should be a quick quick slow slow. Miles away from Master P. Dang, Chuck was more like Master P. Anna really has the most boring chereography and she's never been able to get far on this show.
