Re: Political Film forum
I don't mind *too much* the RightStuff and iNetVideo logos, but the Iron Weed Film Club logo is just out of place and out of proportion for that page. I'd hate it a little less if it was resized properly.
And please, no pop-ups and no audio.

It's gone for me too. Advertising time expired maybe?
Edit: "Ironweed - I've been waiting for the new logo for quite a while and will replace it promptly - I'll try and bring it down in the interrum,"

Re: Political Film forum
While I understand why people will rail against intrusive elements - such as pop-ups and LOUD ads - I think that advertisements and sponsorship are a fact of life on a commercial site such as this.
I'm probably a very bad consumer because these things scarcely register unless they relate to a topic that is on my mind e.g. a recent film that interests me or a tv show I didn't know had come out on DVD.
So the sponsorship tags - although certainly a variation to my past experience on loading the forum pages, and possibly of subliminal influence - really aren't a big deal for me. I can click onto the forum of choice, read the posts, contribute as I may wish and just get on with "life".
Just my two pennies as a long-time member.

The issue with people is that a useless forum was created for the sake of a few nickels while heavily requested forums are not created.
Im sure that if IB created a Blu-Ray Bargians forum and then found an appropriate sponsor, no one would be complaining

Those are pretty much my thoughts and I'm hoping that Blue-Ray Bargains will appear sooner rather than later. I understood that it was on the cards and I'm unsure what is holding up its launch. Or why it didn't appear concurrently with Political Films.
