Finally, 2-Disc Shawshank for cheap. I almost bought it at Borders yesterday for $20 and I said I was wasn't going to open it because I know it is going to be $9 somewhere next week, luckily the line there was insane so I didn't buy it.

Is that the new edition of It's a Wonderful Life? My mom would love The Shawshank Redemption as well.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail $12.99

Which boxset is that? The 3-pack of movies or the collector's edition for that title?

So how much will The Prestige be if that is all I want? Will it be $10 or will it still be full price?

Is there a pic of the Superbad shirt? I want to know if it's lame so I can then get the Target exclusive with no worries.

Just so people know, that Best Buy special 60% off HBO shows is still on for today so if you want all three seasons of the Wire for $21.99 each, it's still on and they're in stock despite Season 3 being out of stock earlier in the week.

I ust hope Saw III remains true on he Director's Cut because the spine shows the unrated cut. I would love to buy Serenity, Shawshank Redemption, and Robocop.

If studios really want to push high definition then they will stop altogether putting exclusives on the SD versions and make them exclusive to the High Definition formats. I would like to have the Superbad t-shirt but would rather have the movie on Blu-Ray. I already bought one movie twice this year, 300, so that I could get the exclusive and I will not do it again. The studios are giving absolutely no incentive to pay more for better picture and sound. Thanks OP for the prices! I will get Superbad on Blu-Ray and probably Pirates as well.

Isn't that the incentive?

That is the reason why we buy high definition but it is not an incentive to buy.

"A benefit or consideration, financial or otherwise, given to induce specific action." This is a definiton of incentive found by doing a simple search on Google. I'm not trying to start a vocabulary war, but I am simply stating that better picture and sound is not an incentive to purchase high definition movies. A free movie ticket, reduced price, free t-shirt, clown shoes, etc. would be considered incentives to buy a more costly movie with better picture and sound. How many people are going to go high def. if Wal-mart is handing out stuffed Shreks or Donkeys with the SD version for 10-15 dollars less than the high defintion version with no incentive?

Yeah the reason I went hi-def is that I was hoping that I could get stuffed animals when I buy my movies.

Anyone know whats on the Pirates Bonus disc? Amazon has the Blu-ray for only $24, so these 43 minutes on the bonus would have to be worth 6 bucks + tax on the disc, for me to not buy it from Amazon.
