Does anyone have the list of Movie Gallery/Hollywood Video store closings?
Yes, I saw a few notations in the other Movie Gallery thread, but I'm hoping to find a list of all 520 closings. Can't seem to find one online anywhere - just the press releases indicating that the closings are in fact going to happen, starting tomorrow, Thursday, September 27th. Tried calling corporate (local out here), but they're getting absolutely hammered with calls (wait time of longer than 10 minutes!) So, any "insiders" here that might be able to provide a list or know where to find one online? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Okay, got my own answer on this - they've stated they're not releasing a full list, but here's what I've pieced together so far. Feel free to add to it!
Due to close in Colorado are the following Hollywood Video stores:
2100 28th St., Boulder
8031 Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada
3305 S. Broadway, Englewood
5894 S. Zang St., Littleton
4515 John F. Kennedy Parkway, Fort Collins
The company also will close two Movie Gallery stores:
8351 N. Rampart Range Road, Littleton
1761 S. Pueblo Blvd., Pueblo
Austin TX:
In the Austin area, the company is closing five Hollywood Video locations:
4477 S. Lamar Blvd.
10710 Research Blvd.
6800 Westgate Blvd.
13776 U.S. Highway 183 N
5770 N. Mopac Expressway
Pittsburgh:
The Pittsburgh stores closing are in Ross, Lawrenceville, Aliquippa, New Brighton and Sarver.
Birmingham, AL & beyond:
In the Birmingham area, the company is closing Hollywood Video stores on Oporto Madrid Boulevard and in West Lake Mall in Bessemer and Movie Galleries on Green Valley Road in Vestavia, 28th Avenue South in Homewood, Park Road in Pleasant Grove and University Boulevard in Tuscaloosa. Other Alabama stores are in Montgomery, Grove Hill, Gadsden and Daphne.
A spokesman said only one Oregon location will close, in Gresham. Three Washington stores, in Spokane, Graham, and Lacey, will close.

I'm going to call the HWV's around Dallas tomorrow and see what the story is, there are several and it might be worth making the rounds on my day off.

Anyone have a list for California? Wondering which stores in Fresno are going to close. I know we have 2 stores so I'm wondering which one or both of the stores are going to close.

I went this morning to the store here in Orlando, and it was 20% off all pre-viewed. The new release wall was 14.99-20%, and everything in the middle (catalog) was $7.50. I grabbed a few catalog titles and they were so scratched to shit that I didn't end up buying any of them. All sales were final, so I couldn't take them back and exchange them at the other Hollywoods that are remaining open. All in all, I wasted about an hour of time browsing to leave the store emptyhanded.

For those of you who are looking for information on your local stores, try these three resources - your local news stations' websites (Business News section), your local paper (again, Business News section) and/or, if your state/area has one, your local Business Journal. These are the three main resources from which people have culled the information gathered thus far. (And, of course, if you do learn of any closings in your state/area, please post them here!)
