Sopranos ever go on sale?

We got the Sopranos S1 during DDD's last sale and ended up liking it more than we thought.

I was wondering if in the past other seasons have ever been on sale anywhere -- BB, CC, Buy.com, Amazon? I realize they're not on sale now, but just wondering if I should wait...or bite the bullet and buy one now. Of course, I'll get another season from DDD, but the next sale is still a long time away. . .

The best place to get these is Amazon Marketplace or Half.com. A lot of times you can find a brand new copy for under 50 dollars, of any of the remaining five boxsets.

I picked up Season 1 and 2 dirt cheap at EBGames during a B2G1F used DVD sale. I ended up loving the show as well, but haven't found any deals on the other seasons. The local used CD/DVD store sells them for $29.99, but they are currently sold out of 3 and 4.

I don't have any seasons yet, I'm waiting for the inevitable series box set that will make the single season purchases seem expensive (at least that's what always happens when I buy the series season by season) and comes with extras the single seasons sets didn't have.

Didn't WM just have these for like $20, $25 a season recently?

I think that was OZ and not Sopranos.

Ok, thanks for all the suggestions!

No Costco's around here, but boy, I'd like Best Buy to have them on sale again! I'll check out Amazon Marketplace and Half.com -- I hadn't thought of those.

I bought mine on Ebay (except S6 Part 1-- Deep Discount). I paid in the low 30s for each season. Good deal, relatively speaking that is.

yeah, I decided to check out eBay and just got S2 for $28 shipped! New, factory-sealed, US, seller had 100% positive feedback. I love eBay but get a bit particular/leery about buying DVDs. I might have to check out eBay for further seasons.

Yeah man, but I think it started in conjunction with or around Black Friday as it was a great deal and I picked up Season 1 of the Sopranos for my cousin and my friend for X-Mas. I remember the Six Feet Under box set was under $100!!! It was the hottest HBO sale ever.

I'm thinking that there'll be a good deal either on Black Friday or in that vicinity.

I also would like to buy these, but not at the current prices.
