Thanks (as usual) Speedy. I was betting someone would do a Shaun of the Dead/ Hot Fuzz combo deal. Don't think I can pass that up. Gotta get 300 also.

Thanks Speedy.

I've been looking for an excuse to get The Bourne Supremecy. And 5 for $30 is a pretty sweet deal.

Ugh. Now I don't know If I should open my Popeye or save it to give as a gift and wait for this "Exclusive Best Buy Tin." This is one of those sets that I want all the extras I can get.

I read somewhere that the stuff on the 2nd disc for 300 is basically the same stuff that was on the Best Buy "making of" bonus disc handed out during the "free movie cash" sale earlier this year... is this true/false? Thanks.

Price.

Collector's Cards.

That's all I see from my perspective.

I still have a few of those and I would hope that there's more expanded features than what was on the Movie Money disc.

Of course there's an excellent review here:

http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=29298

But to address your True / False question directly: the answer is partially True.

Last but not least is a series of Webisodes (12 clips, 38:21), which originally debuted online and partially made it to Best Buy's promotional DVD. Briefly touching upon the film's visual effects, stunts, training, costumes, creature effects, makeup and more, these featurettes also include a few interviews with members of the cast and crew. A handy "Play All" feature ties everything together nicely, elevating these from a series of promotional clips to a satisfying mini-documentary in its own right.

Does anyone know if they would match FYE's price on that 2-disc 300 even though it is after rebate? I don't want to go to the mall for this, plus I want to keep buying stuff at BB so I can get that $10 thing.

I'd say they're great prices, but according to the ad that speedy also posted, Circuit City will be having them for an even more stellar $8.99 a piece. So I'm guessing they've been given one helluva price reduction.

I don't think Best Buy's policies allow them to match prices after rebate.

Are those LOTRs the extended ones in the huge boxes (second versions i think) or the third editions that came out just a bit ago in the slimmer cases?

These are the second generation extended editions.

The slimmer ones were the third generation limited extended edition with the deleted footage woven back in via seamless branching.

Geesh, so much for the Hi-Def prices coming down in stores... 300 will likely be the biggest seller yet, I figured they'd have an actual sale price for it...

They still fail to capitalize on these opportunities.
