Anyone own this 911 COMMERATIVE box set?

http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/dvd.cfm?itemID=VAN006308

Anyone own this? I'm wondering what the quality is of the content, DVD and packaging? I'd also like to know how many discs it is. Amazon says it's 1 disc, but then I don't know why they'd refer to it as a box set. Any info?

DVD Empire has it listed as a 3-disc set.

i have this set....it's indeed a three disc set. but all it is is three dvds in keep cases packed into a large slip sleeve. Nothing special at all. 1st dvd is call Brothers on the holy ground and is a doc. about 9-11 of course and the aftermath. If you've seen the HBO special and the special that came on tv hosted by Robert D....don't look for any footage as good as that if even that much. The second dvd is a made for tv movie called Beyond the Ashes and has serveral stories about people's lives while 911 was happening. The third is called FDNY Dream Bike and the title is exactly what it is....one of the fire fighters wants a restored motorcyle so the men in his unit restore one for him....hope this helps. In my opion this set was not worth a purchase at all

Thanks so much. I'll probably look for a better doc. out there, then. This one is kind of expensive.

One would think that if my title was going to be edited, "commemorative" would be spelled correctly...

The DDD listing threw ya off... we'll blame them. I actually didn't notice your thread title until you just mentioned it!

I was hoping this was going to be about a new "Reno 911" set.

911: The number to call in an emergency.
9/11: Sept. 11.

If you haven't already seen it you should check out 9/11 Filmakers Commerative Edition.

French filmmaking brothers Jules and Gedeon Naudet came to New York in the fall of 2001 to make a documentary about a rookie fireman from Manhattan's Engine 7, Ladder 1 company. On the morning of September 11, while the production was still in the early stages of filming, the project become something that no one could ever have expected: the Naudet brothers accompanying firefighters to the World Trade Center and capturing on film their valiant efforts to get survivors to safety. Originally broadcast on CBS television, 9/11 is a heartfelt, often shocking--but never exploitative--portrayal of the horrific events of that historic and tragic day. A portion of the proceeds from the video will benefit the Uniformed Firefighters' Association Scholarship Fund.

Which was the documentary that showed the entire history of the WTC? The planning, the construction and it's collapse. They use to show it on cable all the time. History Channel I think. It could have been A&E.

That's nice. Tell it to the mods. They edited my thread title to say what it says now...I had a different thread title.
