The Amazing Race Asia Premieres 11/9 in Asia

I don't know if any of you have seen this yet, but here's a 2 1/2 minute clip of The Amazing Race Asia. It premieres 11/9 on the AXN Channel in Asia.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYiYqjZ31hg

I hope somebody in Asia uploads clips of the show. I would love to see how this one works.

Here's the official web site

No Phil?

It looks like fun, except it also looks as if the race itself is confined to Asia. Does anyone know if that's the case? I hope not, that would be too much like the Family Edition being confined to (mostly) to the US. In any case, I hope it's easy to track this show down over the net. I definatly want to watch.

All the destinations seem to be displayed in the opening credits.

I've watched the 1st couple of episodes I like it, you can get it thru the usual methods if you dont like youtube's crappy quality.

I just found out about this over the weekend (they're up to episode 5). I'm waiting until this next weekend to start the first episode, but the couple minutes I caught has that "original series" feel.

One race in Asia and they accomplish something the original has never been able to do.

I'm glad they stopped early on calling it "a race around the world", they never got out of Asia!

This was alot more enjoyable than some of the later seasons of the US version. Now if they could just get the european version on the air finally.
