Superman the Animated Series question?
Do these come in season sets, or are they just volume sets with select episodes? Also, how is the video on these DVDs, as well as the Justice League season sets that I just ordered? Thanks for any input.

Much like the Batman sets, the volumes are kinda like season sets, with episodes presented chronologically. You can view them as season sets that aren't officially season sets - but they're definitely not random episodes. All three volumes should complete the series.
I believe that with these shows, some seasons were pretty big and others short, and compiling them this way was easier for Warners (and buyers). Someone else may need to correct me on this, though.
I've had no complaints with the audio/video side of things, at least in terms of Superman. Don't yet own the JLs.

The JUSTICE LEAGUE eps are quite good, too. I have all the WB animated series released so far BATS, STAS, JL - and all are very worth owning. What was great about it for me, was that most of them, I didn't get to see when they originally aired - so it was all new and good.

Thanks guys! I've always liked these series, especially Superman and Justice League. I've never been big on today's animation. The only animation I was ever fond of was Looney Tunes, because they were so great and because they were a big part of my childhood. But these series are great, especially since I only discovered them about a year ago.
I guess what confused me about the Superman series is I was expecting them to be a larger 4-5 disc set much like Justice League's 4-disc sets.

I guess it made more sense to Warners to release it in three volumes with (nearly?) equal numbers of episodes in each set. All three volumes represent the entire series run.
No picture quality complaints here. The missing movie cash in vol. 3 is another matter.

The only thing I'm not crazy about on the Supes Volumes is that the second disc is a flipper.

So the Superman animated series only lasted for 3 seasons, or 54 episodes? Or is there another volume that hasn't been released yet?

On the upside, it does mean less discs, which means lower price.

Sorry! Fairly new to Justice League. I'm having a blast watching these episodes I've never seen before. Flash is perfect in this series and the writing is fantastic.

And it just get's better as the show progesses, too.
