I haven't looked at my current DVD in awhile. What is different/new about this new version that might come out?

I don't have the other one. What are the additional extras?

Too bad they still can't figure out how to put the DTS from other regions on there.

i would actually say that set is worse since the Q&A's run like a second commentary over the movies on the american disc, as do the storyboards and animated anecdotes

yah, i am truly amazed people want more out of those disc. They are jam packed. The only thing i wish they could have added were the deleted scenes with all the alternate marty sequences. Of course Eric Stoltz apparently wants a forture for this footage to be on a home video release....he did get burned, so I guess he can be bitter.

Ultimately, he's just cheating the fans. He needs to stop being a baby. It's not like it's porn footage or something.

Wow, that's been out ages here.

Only got it in February, but it's awesome.

I don't like the Q & A session though. If it was done over the film yeah, but its done over a blank screen.

Heard this documentary is supposed to be on the new SE set.

The trailer has changed since I first watched it. The old trailer was a little better IMO with some Stoltz footage explaining how he was interested in his co-star (girl who played Jennifer) and asked for her number in character. And a clip at the end of the diner guy saying his "if you want a pepsi kid, you're gonna have to pay for it" line.

Edited to Add: If anybody can find the old trailer somewhere I would love to check it out again. I tried Google cache, but no dice.

The Back To the Future Trilogy DVD set I have now, with all 3 BTTF's, is all the BTTF stuff I will ever need. I love it, if I were to ever upgrade I would feel downright silly.

The only two things I'd like on the movies that aren't there is a DTS track and a real commentary by Robert Zemeckis.

Also, someday I'd like to see the animated series on DVD!

I would get the 3-disc at Best Buy, but ALL of the sets have a loose disc in them. Besides, I really want to just own part 1.

Funny you say that. I was Best Buy today and thinking about buying it. Picked up one box, loose disc, second box, loose disc, and so on. I couldn't believe it. Is the inside packaging really that shoddy?

Looks like I'll wait for this set.

I dont really care for the question answer form of commentary. I was at USC when they recorded it. It was during the summer almost no one knew about it...It was a neat we watched all three movies over a couple days and Zemeckis and Gale came and spoke they were very personable and because of the small size you could get up and personal with them both.

It's amusing that this whole thread is discussing a box set that has been available in other countries for quite some time and shows no signs of coming here...yet we all assume it is.
