It's still just web based email, I don't get why people want gmail instead of Yahoo.

Yeah - you can pop it into anything, so really gmail is just a wonderful 2gb repository for mail.

I have invites for anyone who wants one.

If you have a cell phone, you can have an invite sent to you via text message. Just go to gmail.com and click the large link at the bottom-right.

- Threading
- searching
- archiving
- hotkeys
- ZERO spam (versus my 20 spam an hour in my yahoo box ).
- when you sign in you go directly to your inbox, not some secondary screen that only serves to show you full color banner ads BEFORE you can get to your inbox.

What's not to love?
