Is Current Big Lebowski and Fargo SE Good Enough?

After purchasing both for $15, and not opening either, I saw a SE Big Lebowski was near, has a new transfer, and the running time looks longer.

Questions? Do they add footage to the new one? How does the transfer of the current BL look? Also, is the Fargo SE out now anamorphic?

With both still returnable, the price means nothing to me if they are both sub-par.

Thanks

I'd wait on Big Lebowski. The Fargo SE, though, is great. The transfer is anamorphic and as good as it is going to get I assume. There are also some nice extras, I love the documentary.

Definitely return THE BIG LEBOWSKI...the forthcoming SE looks about 1,000% times better than the current release...

The current Big Lebowski dvd you have is a great dvd, the transfer is solid and clean and just perfect, and there are a few extras that the new SE of BL may not have. That disc is worth keeping, it is good enough to please any viewer.

It will be considered unique after the upcoming SE is released. It's a pleasing disc.

As for Fargo SE, that dvd is great, and compliments the film well.

To answer your question, are both of them good enough.

Yes, they are! They just might not be better someday.

I used to think the current Big Lebowski transfer was solid. Then I bought a 50in Samsung DLP. Damn, it looks like hell next to other discs. I'll jump at the chance to replace it.

Definitely return The Big Lebowski and pick-up the forthcoming SE. The current DVD is not that great and is going to look even worse next to the new one.

Keep the Fargo for sure, but dump the The Big Lebowski and wait for the SE.
