New Dredg album, "Catch Without Arms," 6/21

Any other dredg fans?

Their new album, "Catch Without Arms," is set to be released June 21. I've loved both of their past efforts, "Leitmotif" and "El Cielo," and judging from some of the samples I've heard off their latest -- www.dredg.com has one of the new songs in its entirety, if you're curious -- this one won't disappoint.

Bring on the mini-tour, and bring on the new album.

wow! awesome news! I was recently wondering what they've been up to, so it's good to know they've finished an album. I just hope they tour Canada!

Nice. I didn't know anyone else here really listened to them. I'd love to hear something new.

I'm a big fan as well. Will be seeing them AND Circa Survive in Houston and Austin.

Catch without arms is pretty good. Not as good El Cielo though.

While I definitely think El Cielo is the better record, I'm not disappointed by Catch Without Arms. There are some really great songs on the album.

For what it's worth, Tower has the CD for like 7.99. That's before the 15% they're taking off for the next two days, plus free shipping. I'd say give the band a listen if you haven't already---the Tower dead is actually a good deal.

This album is definitely good stuff. Leitmotif and El Cielo are two of my most-played albums, and this one has the potential be another one. I picked it up at Best Buy for $10. Anyone looking for some experimental, thoughtful, melodic rock, Dredg is it.

I can't wait to see 'em again up in Milwaukee later this summer! Woo hoo!

Were you at the first show? I got stuck all the way in the back---not quite the experience I was hoping for. If we go again, we're definitely duking it out for closer spots.
