What DVDs have you double dipped on?

I bought a DVD player pretty much when they first came out ($500 for a player that didn't do anything special), so I've ended up spending a ton of money on double-dipping. What are the titles you've double-dipped on? Off the top of my head, here are most of my titles:

Armageddon
Army of Darkness
Born on the Fourth of July
Die Hard
Die Hard 2
Die Hard With a Vengeance
A Few Good Men
Field of Dreams
The Fugitive
Goodfellas
Interview With the Vampire
Jerry Maguire
JFK
The Karate Kid
Lethal Weapon
Lethal Weapon 2
Lethal Weapon 3
The Matrix
The Mummy
My Best Friend's Wedding
Notting Hill
Pulp Fiction
Rain Man
The Rock
Seven
Shakespeare In Love
The Shawshank Redemption
Speed
The Terminator
Terminator 2: Judgment Day
Tombstone
Top Gun
True Romance
The Usual Suspects
X-Men
Young Guns

The ones I can immediately think of are:

The Umbrellas of Cherbourg
Dobermann
Donnie Darko
Hellraiser
Picnic at Hanging Rock

all from single disc to multiple disc editions.

I'm sure there are many others, as I seem to spend a lot of time re-buying the same movies. I guess when you have films you really like, significantly improved versions are always going to be tempting...

Dazza.

Only one, Baraka.

For double-dipping, I add the price of the new edition to the old one and see if it's worth it. I still have the old versions of:

Platoon
Se7en
Desperado
Alien
series
Army of Darkness
Boondock Saints
Clear and Present Danger

and a bunch of others.

Too many to remember them all unfortunately

Apollo 13
Leon/The Professional
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
Alien - Alien 4
Cube
Die Hard set
Donnie Darko
Enigma
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Running Out Of Time
Night of the Living Dead
X-Men
a TON of Jackie Chan movies (mainly from buying the R0/R1 version trying to find the most complete cut and then repurchasing some of the R2/HKL versions)
a few Chow Yun-Fat movies for the same reason as the JC movies
a few Kurosawa DVDs that I've replaced the R0 version w/ the Criterion version

One I'm tempted to double dip on are:
Silverado
the original Twilight Zone

Clerks
Sixth Sense
X-Men

Not bad for a collection of about 450 titles, I guess.

Dunno if it counts, but I do have 3 versions of Night of the Living Dead. The 30th Anniversary edition, the colorized original, and the Savini remake.

Memento (regular and ltd. ed.)
Mulholland Drive (U.S. DTS version and Korean with extras and chapter stops)
2001: A Space Odyssey (MGM version with extras and barebones Warner version with better picture)

If a newer, improved version comes out, I most often than not sell the older version.

Not a whole lot here, surprisingly..

Clerks
Predator
Predator 2
Spaceballs (upcoming)
Silence of the Lambs (CC & MGM)
Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves
Robocop (CC & Trilogy)
the old South Park discs (before there were season sets)

These I don't really count because they're different cuts
Donnie Darko
Daredevil
LOTR trilogy

I think that's about it.

John Wayne's Lonestar 'B' Westerns.

First, picked up the Madacy ones (before I knew the kind of junk they put out). Next, I got the Goodtimes box sets. Most were in watchable condition, a few in excellent condition, and a couple were just plain lousy. After that, I got a few Front Row and Delta ones, to upgrade the bad ones from the Goodtimes boxes (which didn't work). Then last year, Brentwood puts out a 20-pack box, including all 16 of the Lone Star films. Turned out to be on par with the Madacy ones, and they promptly hit the trash can. Last month Sam's Club had the impressive looking 'Essential John Wayne' box for around twenty bucks, so I took a chance on that. Like the Goodtimes box, most are in watchable condition, a few are excellent, and a couple are below average.

So yes, I've double-dipped many, many times on these films....trying to get the best quality available. I even picked up the Sony / Columbia Tri-Star version, and while the image quality is in good shape, there is a cheesy artificial soundtrack, dubbed over the film. My search continues on to this day!
