Hey, hey, Ryan gets into a fight (and Marisa is along for the ringside view), seems like old times.

Not sure if Ryan's brother will fit in (he reminded me of Kutcher-lite).

Julie got exactly what she deserved. Caleb is so evil, but in a grandfatherly way.

Carter and Ki-ki is a flame-out (as in, boring).

Zach knows Seth so well. So sad for Zach, hopefully he bounces back, he deserved better treatment.

There was fighting. Best ep of the season.

Caleb is simply awesome. Summer, too.

I felt the same way. I was starting to plan on abandoning this show - you know in the way you start to do other things while watching, maybe "forget" to come back from a commercial break channel change for a few minutes, then you start missing episodes until you are no longer up-to-date enough to be able to keep watching. This episode kinda sucked me back in, at least temporarily. I really liked the sweetness between Seth and Summer, who I am in love with by the way - even if I won't be able to converse with her about politics and current events.

I've said it once & I'll say it again.....why do these people keep having parties? Nothing good has ever happened at a party on The O.C.

LoL they read last week's thread. We wanted fighting we get fighting. This episode is getting back to last year styling. I like the brother in Newport Beach. He doesn't fit in, and Ryan is fitting in too much now.

They should have left Zack gone, though. Maybe he liked Italy so much he stayed. His character is just useless now that he isn't strong linked to the big 6 (I include Kirsten and Sandy).

How many episodes are left this season? I'm actually starting to like it again.

They heard me. Ryan hit a guy. I have been waiting for that all season. I really liked this episode. My only problem was that the porn guy didn't have a bruise on his face. I thought Caleb's guys beat the crap out of him. I don't see why they changed actors for Ryan's brother. The new guy is okay at best. I thought that he really did steal the watch until he threw the receipt in Ryan's face. How did they let him back in the store? I think next new episode in April looks great. We get two back to back eps of Eliza Dushku's Tru Calling next week.

This was an ok episode. I have a good idea that could pickup the show. Have Anna come to visit and fall for Zach. Then she moves back to the O.C. to be with him.

Horrible idea. The way things ended with Anna, it's Seth or no one.

I found one of Seths lines funny "Most people when they leave, they don't come back". Referring to Luke, Anna, and now Lindsey and Alex.

Also, I think Caleb may have purposly put that tape in. He mentioned something to Julie, which I am totally spacing out on.

Wasn't one of the waiters the guy that was blackmailing Julie? It doesn't make sense that Caleb would put it in and jeprodize any money that could be made from the magazine.

And speaking of money, were did he get half a million dollars? Wasn't the whole point of the magazine to revise the image of the newport group and save it from bankruptsy?

I was wondering about that too, maybe he paid them off.

That was a great line.

Julie was great last night between her dealing with the porn video and teasing Kirsten about Carter.

I thought last night's episode was just okay. I wonder how long Ryan's bro will be in the Cohen household?

They need to replace Zack's drab ass and bring Luke back. The minute he found out his father was gay last season, his character made a turn for the better and became quite hilarious.

A big step in the right direction. The episode was actually about something, and it was trashy and fun, although I don't understand the contrivance that got the porn tape shown at the party.

However, the preview for the one in two weeks looks lame to me, so I shouldn't get my overall hopes up.

Seems pretty easy to guess: the guy obviously had a copy (just in case) and exchanged the tape in the VCR which was probably out of sight.

I'm having a hard time believing that they would use a VCR for their presentation.

IIRC, Julie's ex (the blackmailer) had a black eye, and yes, he pretended to be a waiter so that he could have access to the a/v equipment and play a backup copy of the porn tape that you knew he had kept, despite saying he gave the only copy to caleb. I would have expected those two brutes Caleb hired to have done more damage than just a black eye, though, so maybe there's a story we have yet to see (paying them off, having hired thugs of his own, etc.). I don't think Cal intended anyone to see the tape, but he's nothing if not pragmatic, so when it happened it didn't really phase him (plus I think he suspected the guy would doublecross him, just as Cal did).

This show continues to be a great escape each week, and I loved this episode. I'm thrilled it's coming back again next year.

Remove Zack and bring back pretty much any of the characters (not Lindsay) they have axed already and the cast will be pretty decent. I'd like to see Luke interacting with Ryan's brother.

I think this is the best episode of the season thus far.

"Which one of them is Rooney?"

They need to bring back the luke that was there after he found out his dad was gay, but before he slept with Julie. That was the best Luke.

Was that the first time we've seen Marissa pass up a drink?

okay episode. Cal and Sandy's reaction to the porn tape being played were funny. I liked Seth's line about Trey having rage issues like Summer

I have been hearing rumours going around the web that Micha Barton will not return to "The O.C" next year to play Marissa Cooper. Instead she will focus on her movie career. I sure hope this is just a rumor.

Couldn't care less whatever she does. Her character is just getting in the way right now. The show could be held up easily by the guys. Summer just needs a teen girlfriend to go along with and it's all ok.

I sure hope it isn't. She is the one cast member I would love to see leave the show.

Marissa hasn't bothered me the last two episode. There is always one thing to remember on dvdtalk.com never trust a Dalvin post.
