SuperBowl ad parodying censorship is censored!

Get a load of this.

IMO, this censoring is getting out of hand. People really need to lighten up.

Fox refused to air a buxom woman with her clothes falling off? What is this world coming to?

A strap fell from her top, which she tried to put back up, they didn't fall off.

I'd rather my (theoretical) children see this commercial than have to explain the erectile dysfunction ad. Why is that thing allowed to play during a supposed family friendly show?

oh..ok.

I was about to say that in the old days of Fox you would be hard pressed to get ads and spots that weren't trying to be racy.

the NFL's chief operating officer, Roger Godell, expressed his "disappointment" to Fox executives after seeing the first airing of the ad.
Fuck that fat fuck.

Jon Nesvig, the president of advertising sales for Fox Broadcasting Co., a division of News Corp., said in a statement that when the commercial ran in the first half, "it became obvious to us that its content was very much out of step with the tenor set by the other ads
Fucking puzzy.

And isn't it ironic that I can say fuck on DVDTalk, but not "puzzy"? Shit.

This thread should be censored for reposting

http://dvdtalk.com/forum/showthread....hlight=godaddy

Already discussed here http://dvdtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=408610 There are links to both ads buried in that thread as well.
IMO people should stop using the word Censorship. They never use it correctly anyways.

Nice cop out. They might not have directly, but the reason for all of this "fear" and the silly comments about this not being an ad in the "tenor" of the other ads is directly related to the right wing leaning FCC. They are still a part of the government, right? Powell was there long enough to get what he wanted; getting the DAMN out of the The Best Damn Sports Show. Kudos.

The Government didn't go and by there hands demand that fox not show it. Fox felt that they did not want to run any risk. Anyways, it's not fuck'n censorship. You should also say that it's censorship that network television can't have nudity and swearing.

This case is not censorship. Next thing you will tell me is that the government is limiting your rights to go however fast you want when they put up speed limits or you'll get a speeding ticket.

Fox could have shown it, but they might have been fined. Much like you can go past the speed limit, but you might get issued a ticket.
