Replacement case (original) for E.T.?

Is there any way I could get a replacement case for my copy of E.T. CE (short of buying a new copy)?
My kid easily ripped that cardboard in half.

You can try to contact Universal about this, but don't put your hope high though.

what do they need a receipt for if you are sending them the case? It is obvious you own it.
