Jesus of Montreal--Full Screen Only!

I got a review copy of the new DVD of "Jesus of Montreal" that hits on 11/9, and was greatly disappointed to discover that it's a fullscreen transfer. The IMDB does't have any info on the film's OAR, but I'd be very surprised if it was shot in 1.33:1. I was looking forward to this disc a lot, and I'm sure others here have been pumped for it too. If you're one of 'em, well, consider yourself warned...

This has been released in several other regions, and it's always a full screen transfer. I also tried to determine how it shot - maybe somebody has a definite answer?

Is this the Koch Lorber review copy you received?

Their website shows it's anamorphic widescreen:

It also shows the theatrical release as 11/04, which is far from correct...

Arcand's first film was in 1.78, Jesus de Montreal was his second film, before that he has done t.v. work and documentaries. I am also waiting for anyone with the proper AOR as I've been wanting this film since I saw the video in '90.

It's the Koch Lorber disc. I just popped it into my computer to watch a couple scenes and check out the aspect ratio, and it is indeed 4x3, as stated on the jacket. And the transfer looks like ass. This movie deserves waaaaay better.
